Motovun or Montona is a village and municipality in Istria County, Croatia. Motovun is located atop a hill overlooking the Mirna river. The Motovun forest is a habitat for underground fungi called truffles. White truffle has a reputation for being the most delicious and the most expensive truffle of Istria.
